Monday, January 5, 2009

Who says the festive season has come to an end!?
Now that we've had some snow in the UK, we're sure that everyone is getting excited about heading out to tackle the black slopes - and filming all of their speed, jumps and wipe outs!
Even if you're just taking the kids out for the first time then an Action Camera is essential for capturing all those special memories.
Either way, please send all of your footage to us to make us jealous. The good news for you is that we'll upload all the best footage onto the website for everyone else to see.
Enjoy the snow!

New : POV.1 with 4Gb and 8Gb upgrades
Thursday, October 2, 2008

Action Cameras has figured out how to crack the code on an SD card to allow them to work with your POV.1. This means that you can now get up to 3hrs on a 4Gb card and up to 6hrs on an 8Gb card!

This amazing break through brings down the wall on one of the only shortfalls of the revolutionary POV.1 Action Camera – the limited memory space. You can now head out for a whole day of extremities and not worry about running out of recording time. If you already have a POV.1 Action Camera then we can get you these cracked SD cards and they'll work great with your cameras, and if you are looking to get a new unit then you can get these cards with your new camera right from the beginning.

We are really excited to let everyone know about this so spread the word and tell your friends that they can now double or even quadruple the memory space for the POV.1 Action Camera.

New Product: Solid State camcorder Aiptek DV8800 (5 Sept 2007)

The Aiptek DV8800 is the new MPEG4 solid state recorder we are supporting. We've tested a lot of solid state recorders recently and this is the one that came out tops. It's a compact size, easy to use, robust and produces really excellent footage in conjunction with our Action Cameras. One thing that really impressed us was the way it responds to changes in light conditions. In addition to working great with our cameras other features of the Aiptek include: • Digital camera: will allow you to take still pictures up to a resolution of 8 Mega Pixels (3264 x 2448) • MP3 player. • Media station: You can record any kind of video input (TV, DVD and of course Bullet Camera) and display them back into the Built-In Screen. We like the Aiptek so much we have included it in most of our helmet camera package deals. Please note: There are other models of the DV8800 which have a cheaper price but they do not have the AV-In function. All ours do!
